All scans are performed by Registered Technologists.  We follow the "Image Gently" protocols for X-ray and CT with the least amount of radiation possible to perform a diagnostic exam. All exams are "read" or interpreted by Gundersen Lutheran Radiologists or Nightwawk Radiologists for emergency after hours reads.  Radiologists are at Palmer every Monday and Thursday for Fluoroscopy studies, Diagnostic mammograms and breast ultrasounds and image interpretation.  All images are kept on PACs with both onsite short term storage (2-3 months of images) and offsite permanent storage.  All images are available for computer viewing by all Palmer and Gundersen Lutheran clinicians immediately after completion.
